The University of North Florida’s Railroad Institute offers a unique certification program to introduce aspiring freight train conductors to the fundamentals of safety, operations and signals. Upon completion of the 200-hour classroom course and three days of field training, you will be guaranteed an interview with a Class I railroad. Nearly 100 percent of the graduates find employment in the industry!
