Introduction to Photoshop® Elements 7

This is a course to learn how to enhance your photos and perform creative and corrective adjustments using Photoshop® Elements. A wide range of topics will be covered from basic image correction to more complicated edits such as cloning out unwanted parts of photos, replacing boring skies, touching up portraits, pasting from one image into another, adding or making creative backgrounds, combining images and more. Please note that this course will limit itself to correction and creative adjustment of photographs using the "Full Edit" module of Elements. We will not cover the Elements Organizer or other modules. Elements 7 will be used for the class work but the methods shown will work with versions of Elements from version 5 on up as well as the latest versions of the full Photoshop® software (CS, CS2, CS3,CS4). Please also note, this is not a beginning course. A basic working knowledge of the software is needed to get the most from the class. You should be familiar with the Elements workspace, accessing tools, the menu bar and so on. You may bring in their own laptops if you wish and also bring your own photos to the last session to apply the lessons to their own images.
